Agree with others about the receptionist, I think it's just one in particular. She is condescending, rude and treats people with utter distain. She tells people to remove their masks in reception because she says she can't hear them and tuts and huffs, but she doesn't even try to listen. When I refused to remove my mask for health reasons, she actually looked at me, instead of looking distracted and angry, and heard me absolutely fine. The doctors here used to be amazing but over the years the general feel of the surgery has changed. Most of the doctors are nice enough but they literally do the bare minimum. I hate to say this in a pandemic, it's been an awful time but it's truly a battle to get anything but the very basic care. It's disappointing and exhausting to have to fight for everything. Not sure what's changed, it's a shame.

Exceptional doctors and nurses, however I am absolutely appalled by the receptionists! Make you feel so uncomfortable in a place which can naturally put you out of ease, without the help of rude customer service.. please do something about this there are too many reviews saying the same things :(

My family surgery for 30 years, amazing Doctors and Nurses, dreadful receptionist attitude. Rude, abrupt, scary and obviously empathy is not a word she is familiar with. Certainly not what you need when dealing with a relative in absolute pain.

I cannot fault the medical practitioners here. Always very good helpful and supportive. The reason it has such a low review is the reception staff. I have been told by reception staff that I would need to do the following for an appointment in x number of weeks only for the same receptionist to tell me several weeks later that she never told me to do that. Actually bare faced lying that she never told me that etc etc despite the fact that I had a family member with me who made the point that she did. To make matters worse I had two receptionists wanting to know my personal medical details in front of a room full of patients. Apart from the fact they are not medical professionals I don’t wish to sure my personal medical issues in public especially after I have just given birth. They were so rude and unhelpful I ended up leaving the practice in tears and another patient leaving to check if I was ok. Totally unacceptable. The reception staff have also been unhelpful in getting prescriptions during the pandemic (and before but this one took the cake). While pregnant my husband had to go into the surgery to ask where my prescription was because it had become an emergency as I was running out of my medication, despite putting the request in earlier than required as I had a feeling it wouldn’t be done. Lo and behold I was right. Basically there was no prescription at the pharmacy due to the reception staff not being bothered to do the necessary work. Leading to one of the doctors having to be disturbed for an emergency prescription, which could have been avoided. No apology from the reception/admin staff. It is such a shame as the doctors and nurses in this practice are second to none. They are just totally let down by their reception staff, elsewhere I don’t believe they would have been kept in employment with their lack of professionalism, rudeness and at times totally unacceptable behaviour.

If by any piece of luck you get through to a Doctor, you are lucky. The reception staff are an impossible barrier. They are rude to the point where if you spoke to them the way they speak to patients I am sure you would be reported. Furthermore, the detailson the Phlebotomy form is out of date and inaccurate, two of the locations no longer offer a service, and the third is no longer a walk in service. This is not just a one off, I have found the reception staff rude for a long period of time. I have raised a complaint in the past. Yet they are still employed.
