Modern place and the staff are friendly. Recommend the squid, the starter and the sea bream, the main dish. The grilled leak is a great accompany with the fish. The only disappointed thing is that the steamed mussels are too raw to me.

Very very good steak! Seabass was cooked to perfection! The sides were amazing! Five stars through out! Very accommodating and very very professional service! We still managed to miss the last train to London after a Pink Martini gig. And no, we are not in the 65 category!!!
Great food, one of the best steak I have ever bought, quite expensive to have that in mind before you go. I have been during the day and it felt laid back, buy-in the evening it was a very different atmosphere. The waiters looked down on us as we were a bunch of lads but as soon as we were buying big they seemed to be less snooty.
The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and the service was very quick. The cocktails were delicious and the steak was also really good and just the right portion size. Went here as a birthday treat for dinner, the only downsides to the experience were that the table they sat us on was quite small and in an awkward place, we also received no special treatment for the special occasion that was mentioned when booking, this sadly seems to be more consistent with restaurants these days.
Good presentation but charcoal pork belly is not good value. Argentina beer and Sunday roast are good.

CAU is my our (my wife and I) favourite restaurant in Cambridge. I'm a steak lover and it gives the best choice in Cambridge and they taste great! Staff are always helpful and courteous. Big shout out to the bar men hidden behind the scenes. On our last visit (Christmas Eve) not only did they make our favourite cocktail which is no longer on the menu (Booooooo!!) they showed me how to make it!! A regular for us I look forward to going back and enjoying another Asado de Chorizo steak. Highly recommended. G
Recently ate here on a Saturday night. I will just first point out on all previous occasions eating here my steaks have been amazing, hence the repeat custom. However long story short I asked for medium rare and after cutting the steak in multiple places it was clearly obvious to everyone the steak was blue. Fine, we all make mistakes. But at 36 a steak you would expect it to be cooked correctly. Another one arrived and tasted of burnt charcoal it was terrible. The manager came over and he rudely explained they we’re cooked in a charcoal oven and would kindly take the steak off the bill for us?? Yes of course you will. Ruined my evening as We had plans but yet I still had not eaten. Bad experience. Rude manager. Won’t be back in a hurry.
