I have ordered from here before and the food was really good I was very pleased with the service. I ordered from here tonight for the food to come at a set time via the "just eat" app and the restaurant completely ignored this and bought the food when they wanted to. I was not home, hence why I had ordered for a set time. The restaurant then called me, to which I explained the food was not meant to be delivered for at least another hour. The guy on the phone told me that I have misunderstood how ordering food works and that I can't set a delivery time. I tried to explain to him that the app offers that option. So if they are not willing to comply with that then they need to contact just eat and ask for that option to be removed. I was then told very rudely that I would need to contact just eat myself as he doesn't have to do anything and I won't be getting the food. I was so angry with being spoken to so rudely and quite frankly I did not have the chance to finish a sentence, I eventually hung up. The restaurant then called me back shouting at me, to which I hung up again. I am so disappointed and angry as the food at this restaurant is very nice, but I refuse to ever give my money again to such unprofessional, rude and ignorant people. I have never experienced such bad customer service.

I don't know if it is Jamaican owned but the food is authentic and delicious. Great place for lunch or early dinner. The prices are not too bad.

Really nice food, we enjoyed it the first time. A girl served us who was polite and very friendly. We really liked it. Today we went for take-way (27/6/16 7PM). the total cost was 27. They charge extra 50p for any card transaction. A guy was there. I told him politely that, usually 50p charge applied when it is under 10. He started arguing with me. He called other customer and explain the matter to support him. He was shouting. It so disappointing. I bring the food at home but we did't get the same taste because his bad behaviour. Unexpected!
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL RESTAURANT! ENTER AT UR OWN PERIL IF U WANT AN UNFRIENDLY SERVICE. AGGRESSIVE MANAGER/OWNER WHO WAS RUDE AND INTIMIDATING TO HIS CUSTOMERS WHO WERE ALL FEMALE. INSULTED HIS CUSTOMERS. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE IT BEFORE. WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WOULDNT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE THE BAD EXPERIENCE WE HAD.
I would give 0 stars if this was an option. I ordered food from here and the food that did arrive was AWFUL. The items i received were incorrect and were of a lower value then what i had paid for. I ordered a filled roti with lamb and received an empty dry single roti which I had paid 5.50 for. I received the incorrect patties. The chicken wings were tiny and shrivelled up and dumplings were oily and salty. I called the restaurant to resolve my order and was shouted at, hung up on twice, and dealt with very unprofessionally. Do not risk ordering from here! They basically take your money, send out 5 worth of food (whatever they choose) and then refuse to speak to you after
Awful. Had a booking for 10 to celebrate the birthday of a 6 year old made a couple of days before hand. The place on a Saturday night was completely empty. Not a good sign. We had been there for over an hour, had ordered drinks and had our starters before we were told the jerk chicken was finished. Most of us had ordered the jerk. Manager comes over to our table to tell us. No apology just a bad attitude as if it was our fault they had run out. We decided to leave. The place left a bad taste in everyone's mouth and it wasn't because of the food because we didn't get any. Ruined the birthday celebration. Lazy service and badly organised. With an attitude like that I can't see the place surviving for very long.
Best west indian restaurant in the ilford area. This place is becoming a regular of mine. Food is always well prepared. Good portions
