Went to get a new fish for my daughter's tank and was shocked to see the sad state many of the fish were in :-( several tanks had many fish floating listlessly on the bottom, droopy fins and tails and floating at very odd angles, it was very obvious there was disease in the tanks. We picked a fish from what looked to be the healthiest tank but unfortunately now neither the new fish or the existing fish are doing well. Won't be going back to this shop, the state of their fish was disgraceful, I don't recommend.

Love this place! Staff are genuine, new owner is welcoming. And the fish are always healthy. I come in most weeks. They always have some fish that are big that are perfect size for my tank. The guys here just have a nice vibe and work there arses off to have nice tanks.

Amazingly friendly customer service I took my father (who had unfortunately had recently lost both his legs, aged 77) to Maidstone Aquatics to buy some more fish as a birthday present. They were so accommodating and helpful – it was a pleasure to shop with them. They had great prices (half the price of a garden centre we had just visited) for Fan Tails. We were looked after by a gentleman who said he had just taken the business over a week ago – he was a star. A big thank you to the new owner and the other guys working there. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

I think that Maidstone Aquatics is the best place to get your pet from because they keep your pet nice and healthy before you go and collect your pet. They are also really friendly to talk to and they know all about the animals they have there. I got a lovely, little leopard gecko and a starter kit and I am really happy with it. By Poppy - age 8
