Great selection of fish the staff are friendly and helpful and let you browse without pestering you. Tanks are well kept and clean wish I'd visited sooner! Look out for the turning as it comes up quickly. Would definitely recommend if your looking for new fish.

I have visited A5 aquatics a few times just to show my son the fish and today I was able to go and buy a fish for my sons new tank. I'm a complete novice with tropical fish but thankfully the moment I started choosing a fish a young lad that worked there asked if I need help and then talked me through the pros and cons of the fish for sale and which ones would be happy in my tank with the fish I already have. Only a small purchase but made very easy look forward to returning when I have upgraded our aquarium.
Cracking shop. Lots of stock and the staff are very knowledgeable about what is kept in store. I purchased a custom sized tank from them and was delivered very quickly. I am extremely happy with the tank so far. They have been able to answer any questions I have had, and give lots of advice
What a great shop just bought my first tropical tank and I have no clue. The staff walked me through step by step what I needed to do. The staff are so knowledgeable and take the time to make sure you know what you are doing. They got so many fish in their tanks I had no idea there were so many different types. Can not recommend them enough.
Great place for fish and accessories. Not exactly cheap or even close to good value. Better choices than here to be honest. But if you are loaded and stupid with your money, then go for it! Yeah, great shop. :D
As others have written, my fish died the next day. The fish was so smelly so I threw it away. I had bought many things from them (Aquarium accessories, LOTS of fish, lots of fish food) but they refused to even offer a replacement as I did not have the dead fish with me. Their attitude is very friendly when they are taking your money but they wash their hands of you when there is a problem. STEER CLEAR OF THEM. I also saw dead fish floating in many tropical tanks and one of the workers even dropped my plastic bag on the floor with fish inside. Their response is a joke. They will not offer a replacement fish and will point blank refuse to give any refund. I could understand their attitude if the customer is new but I had been in there many, many times and spent a lot of money. They just don't care about customer's complaints and they lose many customers because of it. I have spoken to other people who have had the same bad experience there. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE and to COURTEOUS owners who RESPECT customers who regularly spend money there.
Love this place. Always our first stop for anything new. Even if we shop around we end up back here. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. We have often popped in just to look around. I will be back in shortly as just purchased a new 6ft tank that needs to be filled!
Some of the staff have a better manner for customer service than some of the others. Be very selective what you buy as some items are circa 25% more expensive than the Internet and they refuse to haggle, hence I left many items on their shelf! Latest visit April 2017 Another visit reaffirms my cynicism. The emphasis here is far more about profit margin than customer satisfaction. I only go here if i cant get it from the internet.
