We visited this week and Chris Mitchell assisted us. The showroom was clean and ready for our first visit after lockdown. Chris really made us feel welcome. He was knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted. He spent time with us showing us some cars and explaining the difference and didn't mind when we were fussy on colours etc. After a very unpleasant experience at another garage Chris has restored my faith in car sales people!

Are my expectations too high?? Should I be more realistic and accept that in this day and age, attention to detail is not what it should be?! After lengthy research, we decided to investigate further the idea of buying a fully electric car! Coming to our aid, Gerard, a sales rep at Yeomans Nissan Portsmouth, was very helpful. The whole process was carried out online and over the phone, but fortunately, we were able to arrange a test drive. Eventually, we agreed to purchase the dealership demonstrator model. The big day arrives for collection!! What an absolutely disappointing experience!!! We paid extra for paint and interior protection I'm not sure if it has been done! The car had been cleaned but not very well, especially if you were going to apply a protective coating after. A note to anyone providing a service or a product, don't blame the current global situation for poor quality workmanship! Especially after saying it would require additional time to complete this 349.00 service. Being condescending to someone who has just handed over a figure exceeding 20k by whatever means does not give a warm fuzzy feeling! “Would I recommend them?” I guess only time will tell, as I now have an ongoing relationship with them! On the day, I probably had an emotional response to these issues, and for that, I apologise to anyone in earshot of my rantings!

From the minute you step inside everything is clear regarding Masks,Social Distancing,Hand Sanitiser which straight away puts you at ease. Nothing wrong at all with the service or the staff, it's just the location. Having to wait around for two hours because of a lack of courtesy cars in a place that's not conveniently located wasn't fun and a waste of two hours of my life that I'll never get back. The location will definitely have an influence on my next choice of vehicle as it's just too remote. Nissan need to do pick ups or get more courtesy cars. My next new car will be from a showroom closer to civilization, or at least one that offers a set of wheels so you don't have to sit around wasting time.
